locate-your-drill-press

A shaky chuck typically comes from poor methods.  For  example, you get a tad busy  in a work piece and it swipes  round and knocks the  line;  or  you  permit  a work piece tap about on  the counter,  whereas you’re drum scraping the  interior of a snug  curve.

How to Detect and Measure Wobbling

To  identify  and  gauge  wobble,  you’ll  want  a  dial  meter framed on  a magnetic root.

Primarily, wedge in a precision pole of recognized straightness.

Then,  place  the  indicator’s foundation  on  the  counter  or rank, so  the  plunger is meeting the  ending  of the  rod.

Through  the press  undone and  the  head  shell  exposed, hand  bend  the  spindle pulley and  observe the  indicator to  identify  supreme variation.

Prevent turning as soon as the rod is at its furthest away from the nozzle.

Bind a part of masking tape over the chuck, and stain a position point overhead the plunger with a felt-tip marker. You can too test the exterior of the chuck in this manner.

Fixing Quiver with a Whack

Instead of switching your apparatus’s most lavish parts chuck, spindle and quill, you might become able to clout wobble out.

Subsequently  a tremor  power bashed things  out  of arrangement,  an  equivalent-and-differing shock  within  aim, can  straighten  things up once more.

Shift the wing of the indicator out of the system, and then board a weighty steel pole in the chuck and set on your protection spectacles.

Place the chuck so you can whack the rod unswervingly opposing your spot.

Wedge your precision pole, relocate the plunger and switch the spindle to detect any alteration.

Recap till you’ve acquired fewer than .002-in. wobble.

Chuck Elimination Strategy

Infrequently, you’ll have to eliminate a chuck to mount a mortising load or to tidy and patch-up the chuck. The flipsides  of majority of the chucks together with the  key-and-scroll Jacob’s  sort  and  the hand- tapering Albrecht type  have  a elongated  hovel,  which  stands  either  onto  a similar elongated  knob on the spindle nose or on an adaptor that attaches to the  rod.  Chucks  that stand right  to the  spindle nose  are  typically  grasped  on  either  by a basic  friction-fit or through a grouping of friction  and  a looped lapel  with  snap  loop.

Chucks with Collars

If there’s a  circle  with  hovels round the  uppermost of the  chuck, you  can detach this lapel to influence  the  chuck  downward  off the spindle.

To spin the lapel, most press producers deliver a spanner, which is parallel to an open-end wrench.

Place the  spanner’s  pin  in  a ,hovel  in the  padlock hoop,  and  inject  the  lever of the  chuck-key in  a wedge  hollow.

Grasp the key for power and untie the lapel by rotating the spanner in a spiral motion.

Maintain rotating,  even  while it feels as  the  choker  is tapering again  as  it tolerates  in contrast to  the  base  of the chuck.

If it doesn’t halt free, drape a fabric round the chuck, and lock it in a drill-press counter vise. At that moment attempt to detach the lapel.

Chucks without Collars

Chucks lacking chokers can frequently be darted off with a usual open-end wrench.

Step one, drop the quill to bare the uppermost of the chuck, and padlock the quill.

Now  grab  a wrench that  turns over  the trough amid the  chuck  besides  the  quill,  and  extricate the  chuck  by breaking the  wrench uphill.

If the chuck doesn’t go according to plan, turn the spindle a partial spin, include some Liquid Wrench and test for a second time.

Your  following  choices are  to  attempt either snooping the chuck off with a group of Jacob’s-brand elimination chunks  or seizing  the  quill  gathering out  of the  top  and  taking  it to a mechanic  or  service  facility  to have  the  chuck  separated.

To eradicate a chuck from a connector, initially expend a drift chuck to remove the connector with chuck.

At the present, drill a hollow in a chunk of wood to receive the Morse-taper close of the convertor.

Split the block in two, and clamp it around the adaptor in a vise.

Screw the wedge off with the key or a tube wrench.

Mounting the Chuck Again

To mount again narrow -fit chucks, formerly tidy the coupling tops with help of a dry cloth and push the chuck on top of the rod by hand.

Afterwards, draw back the chuck’s mandibles and attack the bottommost of the chuck, directly with a woody hammer.

Or reseat  the  chuck  by sinking it squarely  alongside  a portion  of plywood rested on  the  press’s  tabletop.

If the  spindle’s  muzzle  is damaged,  a few droplets of super glue or cyanoacrylate  can  habitually grip  it in position,  and  the  ensuing connection still can  be  shattered effortlessly when wanted.

Lastly, test concentricity with the meter and the level rod once more, and, if required, tweak things with limited mallet blows on the heftier rod.

You’ll be astonished how gentle a knock it takes to make things straight.

Types of Batteries

The positive terminus of the main battery is joined to the positive terminus of the next battery; the positive terminus of the second is joined to the positive terminus of the third, and so on. The negative terminus of the main battery is connected to the negative terminus of the next battery; the negative terminus of the second is joined to the negative of the third, and so on. Hence, the batteries stay connected like this, + to + to + besides – to – to -.

  • In this formation, the capability is the calculation of the abilities of the singular batteries and power stays unaffected.
  • For instance, if you acquire 5 6V 10AH batteries and unite the batteries in sequence, you will wind up with a battery assortment, explicitly 30 Volts and 10AH.
  • If you unite the batteries in equivalence, you would turn out with a battery grouping to be exact 6 Volts and 50AH.
  • Incidentally, this is just how regular auto batteries are prepared.
  • 6 2volt units are installed in sequence to provide 12v battery, plus the 6 units are merely bounded in single box.
  • Numerous ni-cad batteries come about in similar technique.

Introduction of a Starting Battery

  • Starting batteries, on occasions termed as SLI, for starting, trolling motor, lighting, and ignition are universally consumed to initiate and function, the engines.
  • Engine starters demand an extremely enormous preliminary current for a precisely brief time.
  • Starting batteries contain a huge amount of reedy plates for extreme external expanse.
  • The plates are constituted of a Lead sponge, alike in form to an incredibly refined foam sponge.
  • This offers an exceedingly big external expanse, however in case of deep cycling, this sponge would swiftly be expended and collapse to the foot of the units.
  • Automotive batteries usually flop, following 30-150 deep cycles in case of deep cycling, though they might survive for thousands of cycles, in standard starting usage, i.e. 2-5% discharge.

The Deep Cycle Battery

Deep cycle batteries have been planned to be discharged down by way of 80% over and over, and hold far denser plates than a normal automotive battery.

The Marine Battery

Marine batteries are ruminated as a hybrid battery, which really tumble between the starting plus deep-cycle batteries. Marine batteries are commonly assessed by means of MCA, otherwise Marine Cranking Amps, which is measured 32 degrees F, whereas CCA stays on zero degree F.

The Sealed Maintenance Free Battery

Sealed batteries are recognized as maintenance free batteries. They are prepared by outlets that generally can’t be detached. A normal auto or nautical maintenance free battery is impenetrable, but not completely drip resistant. Sealed batteries are not entirely airtight and watertight, as each battery should permit gas to escape throughout charging. In attendance is Sealed Lead Acid, or SLA Batteries, which are non-leaking.

The AGM or Absorbed Glass Mat Battery

The newfangled style of sealed non-leaking upkeep-free valve controlled battery practices Absorbed Glass Mats, or AGM dividers amid the sheets. This is an extremely good stuff called Boron-Silicate glass mat. These kind of batteries ensure the entire benefits of gelled, however can receive far extra misuse. These are furthermore entitled as, starved electrolyte. Simply similar to the Gel batteries, the AGM Battery would not trickle acid, if damaged.

2

This single thought, held firmly in the mind, would save the world. From time to time we will repeat it, as we reach another stage in learning. It will mean far more to you as you advance. These words are sacred, for they are the words God gave in answer to the world you made. By them it disappears, and all things seen within its misty clouds and vaporous illusions vanish as these words are spoken. For they come from God.

Here is the Word by which the Son became his Father’s happiness, His Love and His completion. Here creation is proclaimed, and honored as it is. There is no dream these words will not dispel; no thought of sin and no illusion which the dream contains that will not fade away before their might. They are the trumpet of awakening that sounds around the world. The dead awake in answer to its call. And those who live and hear this sound will never look on death.

Holy indeed is he who makes these words his own; arising with them in his mind, recalling them throughout the day, at night bringing them with him as he goes to sleep. His dreams are happy and his rest secure, his safety certain and his body healed, because he sleeps and wakens with the truth before him always. He will save the world, because he gives the world what he receives each time he practices the words of truth.

Today we practice simply. For the words we use are mighty, and they need no thoughts beyond themselves to change the mind of him who uses them. So wholly is it changed that it is now the treasury in which God places all His gifts and all His Love, to be distributed to all the world, increased in giving; kept complete because its sharing is unlimited. And thus you learn to think with God. Christ’s vision has restored your sight by salvaging your mind.

We honor you today. Yours is the right to perfect holiness you now accept. With this acceptance is salvation brought to everyone, for who could cherish sin when holiness like this has blessed the world? Who could despair when perfect joy is yours, available to all as remedy for grief and misery, all sense of loss, and for complete escape from sin and guilt?

And who would not be brother to you now; you, his redeemer and his savior. Who could fail to welcome you into his heart with loving invitation, eager to unite with one like him in holiness? You are as God created you. These words dispel the night, and darkness is no more. The light is come today to bless the world. For you have recognized the Son of God, and in that recognition is the world’s.

Bakeware makers say ‘I Do’ to brides

Bakeware manufacturers are target marketing the bridal market in hopes of increasing their selling seasons. Traditionally, the heaviest selling season for the bakeware industry is the fourth quarter. However, by targeting the bridal market the industry hopes to add the spring and fall bridal seasons to its business. Bakeware has made inroads into the bridal market because of expanded bridal registries and the increased availability of exclusive bakeware products at department stores.

Bakeware

With more upscale vendors in the $293 million metal bakeware category targeting the bridal market than in years past, department stores can now add the spring and fall bridal seasons to a business whose heaviest selling season has traditionally been the fourth quarter.

“Bakeware is seasonal and this puts it into the second and third quarter, adding additional seasons,” commented Nordic Ware president David Dalquist. “While it will never be a year-round business, the growth of bakeware in bridal will certainly help justify department stores’ shelf space and inventory commitments. It’s been a sleepy category for them that most haven’t really paid attention to.”

According to both retailers and vendors, the influx of bakeware into the bridal market is due to two factors: the increased availability of exclusive products for department stores and the ongoing trend of broadening registries beyond tabletop, cutlery, cookware and gifts.

“As bakeware prices and quality come up, it brings it more into the gift category,” said Paul Angelo LoGiudice, product and culinary director for Commercial Aluminum Cookware Co., whose new Calphalon bakeware, cookware and other products are part of an extensive bridal program. “When a cookie sheet comes closer to $25, it brings it all together over a flimsy one that isn’t heavyweight. But a department store must have both a strong bakeware and a strong bridal business for bakeware to work in registries.”

“In the early days, everyone thought dinnerware and flatware,” added Marlene Desing, gift registry director for Younkers. “But department stores have opened up other categories over the past few years. Bakeware, which used to be a token gift from a mother, is now becoming an acceptable gift. And computerized registries allow you to keep track of more information and to help the buyer predict how much product to keep on shelves.”

Other retailers cited as already offering strong bridal bakeware programs–along with extensive assortments of bakeware in general–include ZCMI, Dillard’s, Carson Pirie Scott, The Broadway, Marshall Field’s and The Bon Marche, said vendors.

Many players in upscale bakeware have only been in the market six to 12 months though. For the few that have been in the category two years or more and have comprehensive bridal programs, however, annual registry growth is as high as 30 percent.

“Two years ago, we began targeting the bridal registries of better department stores with our Excelle line,” commented Byron Stanger, vice president of marketing for Wilton Industries. “Over the past year, our bridal business has grown 25 to 30 percent with certain retailers. Brides’ selections tend to be toward better, nonstick bakeware because it’s being given as a gift. And brides that register for nonstick cookware will more likely than not register for nonstick bakeware.”

Mirro Co. cited similar growth. “Our bridal bakeware business has grown 25 percent over the past 12 months and we’re at the point where we’re using more people to handle the volume, asking for assistance at our plant in Kansas,” said Vikki Slavin, sales promotion coordinator. “We were getting two boxes of mail a week; it was becoming overwhelming.”

While Wilton, Mirro and Calphalon are among the few vendors offering all or most elements of a full-blown bakeware bridal program, every other vendor contacted is targeting or plans to address the bridal market at some level. Programs include gifts to registrants and retail employee incentives, literature aimed at brides and bridal directors, bridal consultant training, participation and product demonstration at bridal fairs, program exhibition at trade shows, print ads in bridal publications and/or co-op advertising with department stores.

Here is a run-down of what they’re doing:

* Kaiser is offering a free 9-inch cake pan to brides who register for five or more pieces of its Nolesse or La Forme brands. “We want brides to get the product in their hands so they love it and encourage someone to buy it for them or buy it themselves if they don’t receive it,” said vice president of marketing Tom Reikowski.

* Nordic Ware, whose International Specialties brand of department store-exclusive, traditional shapes made its debut at the 1994 Housewares Show, is working with several accounts on co-op advertising programs for the spring, said Dalquist. Ads including its cast aluminum Bundt pan and other items would run in May and June.

* In January, Roshco Inc. will begin offering its existing pizza pan and crisper in a set that also includes a pizza cutter. The nonstick, steel pieces are already popular on registries, said national sales manager Adam Stone. Retailing for under $25, the set will save the consumer $10 over open stock. The company is also working on a second bridal incentive program; details had not been not finalized at press time. The company also participates in bridal fairs.

* T-Fal Corp. is no newcomer to the bridal market. Treating its seven SKU Resistal bakeware line as an offshoot of its extensive aluminum nonstick cookware business, the manufacturer advertises in key bridal publications, shows both product categories at bridal fairs and offers a T-Fal magnet to registrants, said national demonstration and sales training manager Susan Bridges. Once a bridal gift of cookware and/or bakeware is actually purchased, the bride receives a free crepe pan.

In an effort to greater emphasize its bakeware in all phases of its upscale business, the company plans to expand the gift concept and to educate bridal directors on the bakeware’s uses, she added.
* Chicago Metallic, which recently began offering department stores a full upscale line, attends bridal fairs where it does product demonstrations, said national sales manager Ron Field. It hopes to expand this program. Field hopes to launch a brochure with applicable products that pinpoints the bride as the target customer. The firm currently uses more general bakeware literature.

what’s everyone’s must have bench gear?

It's only fair to share...Share on FacebookShare on Google+Tweet about this on TwitterShare on LinkedIn

Finally set up a work bench, no more soldering on the coffee table! Starting with bench top power supply suggestions, what’s everyone’s must have bench gear?

[#1] Kent Brown: Kettle 😉
[#2] Phineas-Stephen Gregory: A small amplifier.
[#3] Jacob Whittle: Big vise
[#4] Cody Geisler: Panavise
[#5] Rocky Frees: Now that is how a man cave should be.
[#6] Rocky Frees: Top 3 must haves: Power Supply, Oscilloscope, Meter(s)
[#7] Cooper Logman: some kind of linear bipolar benchtop supply is crucial

[#8] Phil Tucker: Any make/model suggestions?
[#9] Cooper Logman: http://www.amazon.com/Tekpower-TP3005T-Variable-Linear-Supply/dp/B00ZBCLJSY/ref=sr_1_1?s=industrial&ie=UTF8&qid=1451868266&sr=1-1
[#10] Cooper Logman: i used to use something like this at my old job. it’s really nice being able to adjust voltage and current. not sure if this can supply negative voltage, but you’re mostly dealing with 9-12V on stompboxes anyway.
[#11] Phil Tucker: Been looking at the Tekpower, it’s tempting, but there’re some horror stories about them blowing out and ramping up to 37V when left on for a while. I’ve seen the company respond saying something about pre-2014 production being bad, but not sure that’s trustworthy. I don’t mind spending a little more to get something I can trust.
[#12] Cooper Logman: it’s usually worth spending more for better tools, go for it!
[#13] Phil Tucker: Trying to find that sweet spot price/quality model is the tricky part though.
[#14] Jussi Säily: Definitely get a bipolar supply as suggested with minimum of +/-30V.

[#15] Gary Powell: http://bestdrillpressguide.com/
[#16] Justin Womack: Drill press. Although, if you’ve got a better suited place, losing the worktop space isn’t ideal.

[#17] Phil Tucker: Yeah, got a drill press in the garage — don’t want to deal with the messy work inside anyway 😉

[#18] Scott Leary: Test box & breadboard
[#19] Roberto Zec: very interested in this! I’m doing the same! suggestion for a signal generator?

[#20] Cooper Logman: i got an instek GFG-8215A for pretty cheap ($100) new on ebay, but you can probably find them cheaper. it doesn’t have a digital display but the adjustment knob is labeled. square, triangle, and sine up to 3 MHz. it’s been one of my best purchases.
[#21] Roberto Zec: thanks! I’ll check that out!

[#22] Nicholas Laves: Beer fridge
[#23] Aleks Azaric: I would suggest a white workbench, a lot easier to see all your components if it gets messy its just to repaint! Its an easy fix!

[#24] Phil Tucker: Good idea, the current table top is just some old wood — but I welded the frame together with the idea that I’d swap out the top before long.

[#25] Erich Hochstrasser: Panavise or other PCB holding vise. Did ~7 years of synth and pedal DIY without one and have no clue how I managed. Game changer for sure.
[#26] Casey Anderson: A little clip-on fan to blow the solder fumes out of your nostrils.
[#27] Gavin MacNeil: Better than the dining room table. This happened last night:
[#28] Michael Adams: Bins to store components
[#29] Rick Lee: a home made holder for wire of various colors and solder.

[#30] Andrew Wilson: I like using a spindle from a pack of blank CDs for this

[#31] Bbob Drake: small amp/speaker for testing
[#32] Craig Smith: Some tweezers, a soldering iron and a bench vice. And a Cheeky Girls poster.
[#33] Sébastien Haby: A nail cutter !
[#34] Scott Harvey: Here’s my workspace. I’ve been thinking I need an O-scope, even though I don’t really know how to use one. They’re just cool.
[#35] Phil Tucker: Update! Thanks for all the suggestions!
[#36] Scott Leary: Now you need some posters for the wall!
[#37] Ryan Anthony Cler: an adjustable dual output power supply would be ideal. you could throw one together yourself even.. get a CT transformer, beefy rect diodes, good filter caps, and a good regulator circuit for pos and neg outputs that is adjustable (or regulator IC)

Dog or Cat – Pet Story

Posted by on Dec 20, 2015 in Pet, Story | 0 comments

It's only fair to share...Share on FacebookShare on Google+Tweet about this on TwitterShare on LinkedIn

I’ve always wanted a pet dog or cat, but i’ve never been in a life position that allows me to dedicate to the responsibility. This Christmas I’ve got some time off & I’m living at my own place now so Genny and myself thought it would be a good idea to try foster caring for the RSPCA over the holidays. And now, I have 3 tabby kittens (8 – 10 weeks old) keeping me good company at home. It’s day 4 now and this decision has already made a big positive impact on our lives. From the moment the kittens arrived here at their temporary home, they were quick to explore their new surroundings and weren’t shy getting to know us at all. Turns out they had already figured out toilet training too. Not one bit of kitty junk has touched anything but the kitty litter tray. They also know to use the scratching post and not my couch… This did take a bit of training on one particular kitten, but that all seems to be sorted already. We bought them a kitty bed too but so far they’ve spent every night in my bed instead.

Anyway, I’ve come to face the hard reality that these 3 girls have to go back to the shelter soon & I really don’t want that to happen. These kittens are all so well behaved, affectionate, intelligent and playful and I really want to see them all go to a good home. So I’m going to try our luck at putting the word out before I have to return them on the 5th of January for desexing. After that they will be available from the RSPCA. If any of my friends out there would be interested in taking home one of these kittens forever I’d love for you to come and meet them. Feel free to share this post if you want to help.

Dear friends

If you are suffering, this is for you. Dear friends, there are so many of you who maybe losing something important right now, a friend, a pet, a car, a home, a child, a necessity, a gift, a paycheck you could have really used right now, a raise, your worth, a relationship etc; and no its not your plan, what you wanted, or expected. Truth is it is mean to happen, these things that knock you down or turn your day into bad luck one might say… There is a reason, a lesson, and purpose for any of these things to happen one at a time or in multiples. Life is short, don’t lose sight of what is important. Keeping your spirits up may be difficult, but you got to do it to get through it. Act on instinct, always express your love heart and mind because in only a split second everything can change. And it has. And it will continue to do so. Ask for help when you need it, and help others often without causing harm on yourself or family. Forgive for yourself, and if you need to forgive yourself you can do that too… you get to open that gift that keeps forgiving and giving on. The best way to do things, keep moving forward and never forget the lessons message meant for you to interpret on your own when you figure out how to get over it. That takes time… always take a little time for yourself to think by yourself and think with a friend or loved ones who support you through these hardships. It’s real, it’s life, it’s serious, and terrifying to lose someone or something. But you my friends, it will be okay again, it will get better, and you will find a solution or a way to heal. I’m praying for all of you, I’m praying for goodness and light and love and peace and joy for you. The rest is between me and God. Blessings to come.

I see your pain, may your troubles pass swiftly and these mountains crumble into beautiful meadows and hills. Nothing is fair. The way we make of things, how we think and what we do them; flipping the switches from negative to positive. Easier said than done, but even better when you say you can and believe you will get through this and if you can get through this you can get through what lays ahead if it doesn’t take your life first.

God, bless us, everyone.

December 21st, 1970. On this day, a very cold one 45 years ago, test pilots Smythe and Miller took to the air for the very first time in ‘157980’ the first prototype of Grumman Ironworks’ last fighter, the F-14 Tomcat. It was a flight cut short by a massive hydraulic failure, resulting in the plane crashing a few hundred yards short of the runway at Grumman’s Calverton Flight Test Center. Smythe and Miller ejected with just seconds to spare and survived. Prototype 12 was rushed off the production line and took over No.1’s duties as No.1X.Why such a fuss about a retired plane that hasn’t flown for almost a decade now? The real military aviation enthusiast would probably agree with me that the F-14 is arguably one of the most iconic jet fighters ever devised. Those who worked in, on and with her, and who had careers after this, will probably testify that their association with the Tomcat was their ‘finest hour’. They gave her endearing nicknames such as ‘Turkey’ and ‘Titanium Cloud’. There has always been an special aura surrounding the F-14 and those who worked with her. Many involved were or still are sorry, and even downright emotional when this magnificent bird was retired in 2006, sounds are echoeing that the Tomcat was taken out too soon and still could have packed a punch, as a fighter, as a ground attacker.

No matter from what angle you look at her, there is no ugly part to be seen. Once flying but now even sitting on the ground in a few museums or stacked up a pole as a gate guard, the Tomcat looks both beautiful, sturdy and purposeful at the same time. Grumman’s Ultimate Cat also became a Hollywood movie star. First in a motion picture that not many outside the aviation world will remember, The Final Countdown. It was another motion picture that turned the Tomcat into a genuine worldwide celebrity among outsiders, Top Gun. This movie, starring Tom Cruise, became THE recruitment tool for the air forces in general and the United States Navy in particular. Many youngsters who saw Top Gun, started to put in double effort to become a fighter pilot. And that was not because of Cruise, or him getting the girl…

Tomcat’s motto was ‘Anytime, baby!’ Still sorely missed by the genuine enthusiast with a pilot’s heart. Shown here is my reposted profile of the most iconic Tomcat of them all, ‘Vandy One’.

Yeah theres been times in my life
I needed help to make money
But why everything I love you manage to take from me Yet you stand there an question a nigga that tries hard and finds a way when you keep dealing them FUCKED up cards!
You make mistakes like ME far as I can see
I think its a mockery whenever rich niggas win the lottery
Gave us Bush twice God I hate to be rude
But you let skinny niggas starve give obese niggas food
THE NERVE of you telling me I don’t deserve to stay here
When you gave us drugs and GUNS you put AIDS here!
Take a look at you, your actions are cold hearted
The harsh shit is you bring babies in the world retarded
I know most my actions put me in a cell
But how you mad at me when you put me in the hell

See my child you need gratitude, maybe just a sample
I never give a person anything they cant handle
Don’t tell me about everything you had to go through
there’s reasons for my actions even if I never showed you
Kept trying with you all you did was hurt me
still gave you chances to prove that you was worthy
and so I sat with you on a train I asked you for change
you kept calling me names. Prolly didnt notice
I was the store clerk, you put the gun to me get money for more work
my child I know you have it in you to indeed stop
this is not your final calling just a brief stop
Hope you heed my words and understand
so when I see you back you should be a better man
look at life different the next time we see each other
there be no need for talk whenever we meet each other

After reading ANOTHER post by some ignorant twinkle claiming her dog had been attacked by 3 Pitbull’s, I’d like to give them a little information on their idiotic close minded statements.

The chances of you seeing a TRUE American Pitbull in the UK are slim to say the least and even to see a true modern American Pitbull is unlikely.

They will claim it’s a Pitbull in the same way you will claim your fake arse Gucci bag is real!!

The chances of you seeing one of the four band dog breeds in the UK also unlikely.
( American Pitbull, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brasilio, Tosa Inu )

Yet you persist in claiming every dog is a Pitbull or devil dog. These comments are as harmful and stupid to a breed as the idiots who train their dogs to be aggressive in the wrong environment and in the wrong way.

The devil dog pitbull killing machine you so much fear is more than likely poorly trained and socialised by its fucktard owner and not the dogs fault.

ANY dog can be dog aggressive or anti social and I mean ANY DOG.

So back to my point the Pitbull you saw was more than likely a Staffordshire Bull Terrier ( also known as the nanny dog as it was not only a fighting dog but also bred to look after the families children ) or similar.
And it’s more than probable that you’ll say ooooo no it was bigger than a staffy. Well then it’s probably a cross breed or an attempt at breeding a Bandog.

Also just for your information a Bandog doesn’t mean it’s Band. It’s a breed type of dog which used to be known as a ” bandogge”. The name refers to the fact that during the day the dog was tethered/tied up ( bound up with rope/banding tied up however you want to understand it) during the day and released at night to guard homes, property and family.
The most well known modern Bandog is the Swinford Bandog which is an American breed using the American Pitbull and the Neapolitan Mastiff or the English Mastiff.
Most people that want to breed a Bandog will use a Mastiff breed bred with a bull breed.

Now I could go on and on but I got shizzle to do. So before shouting your mouth of and being Dogist lol learn your facts do your home work and look towards the owners and your narrow minded way. Because these so called devil dogs be it a Mastiff, a bull breed or Bandog are bred to outstanding family companions, guardians and loyal family friends and are the only type of dogs I have and will continue to allow to be around my family and child.

Remember ANY DOG CAN BE AGGRESSIVE OR DANGEROUS.

PS
Why are you letting your dog run up to these dogs I thought you had control your pet ?
